2023 is going to be a great year for movies and these are just some of the ones that are going to be really exciting.

One of the movies I am excited to watch is Guardians of the Galaxy. This might be the end of the Guardians of the Galaxy that we are familiar with watching. James Gunn the director of the Guardian films says that this is going to be the darkest and saddest guardians film yet with him putting it on the record saying not all characters are going to make it out alive. I think a lot of fans are going to be leaving the theater and needing a few tissues.

Ant Man and the Wasp Quantamania is another movie that I find interesting. This will be the third installment in the Ant Man franchise and is the biggest one yet. This will step back from the comedy and get serious for a new big bad not just to Ant Man but to the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Though it looks like it is going to have a darker tone than the other Ant Man films, this will probably still have the same fun feel that the other Ant Man films are known to have. 

The last movie you should look out for is Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning (Part 1). Tom Cruise will once again defy gravity and “wow” audiences from extraordinary heights as he continues to do all of his own stunts in the newest installment. This will be the seventh Mission Impossible movie and the first part to the finale of the Mission Impossible series.

The Mission Impossible series is one of those franchises that just keep getting better and better with every new entry. Every new movie somehow “one ups” itself with the stunts from climbing the side of the Burj Khalifa to jumping onto a moving plane. Yes, this series truly gets better with every movie.

While 2022 was a good year for movies, the first full year of movie releases after the pandemic, 2023 looks to be even better. So if you want to see some good action, adventure and sci-fi, now is the time to do it.
