Ben Whitley is sophomore at Community School Of Davidson and has been taking part in the CSD Spartan Media/Journalism for 2 years now. 15 years old sport fanatic, Whitley, is a pitcher for the CSD baseball team, but loves watching and talking about all different kinds of sports.

Whitley is enjoying journalism a lot this year stating that he “Loves getting to know more about different types of people.”

Whitley’s favorite subject in school is earth science. Whitley states “H was never interested in science till he heard what that class was about.”

Whitley’s dream job is to play professional baseball. Whitley states “It’s going to take hard work and dedication.”

Whitley is hoping to become a more talented writer from taking journalism.
