Abby Horton is a 16 year old junior who attends Community School of Davidson. She was born and raised in Huntersville, North Carolina. 

The pandemic going on has impacted her by not being able to see her friends and going to school. She is a very social person and likes to be around people, so this pandemic has been particularly challenging for her extrovert nature.

Horton works for Chick-Fil-A and really enjoys it. In fact, one of her favorite moments was getting hired in person. Horton stated how, “It was such a cool experience getting to know that I got the job in person, and knowing I was fit for the position.” 

Other things she enjoys are reading, being outside, and being around people whether they are her family or friends. She chose to take journalism because she thought it would be a cool experience to cover news and find out what was going on in our community.
