Olivia Flannery is a 17 year old junior who attends Community School of Davidson. Flannery has been at Community School of Davidson since kindergarten.

This is Flannery’s first year taking journalism but not her last. Flannery plans on taking journalism next year as well . Flannery took journalism because she said she wanted to try a new class and she wanted to know how to write news stories and articles.

Outside of school, Flannery loves to go out on the lake with her sister. Flannery also really enjoys to draw and read. Her favorite genre to read is realistic fiction. Flannery hopes to soon spend her after school time interning down at the elementary school. This year Flannery’s favorite classes are tech theatre and journalism. Flannery’s goals for the year in journalism is to get more comfortable at interviewing people, and forming and writing stories.
