Charlie Bloom has been at CSD since kindergarten.  Now a 15 year old sophomore, Bloom is entering journalism for the first time.

“I have an interest in sports journalism,” Bloom explained.  He is serving as a sports writer for this year.  In addition to covering the women’s tennis team this fall, “I’d like to cover more [CSD] sports teams.”

In addition to being a sports writer, Bloom is also an avid pingpong player.  He and his brother entered “into some pingpong tournaments, but [they] lost pretty quickly.”  

Bloom’s dream job would be to work “as a sports writer or commentator.”

Who is Bloom’s dream interviewee? “I would interview Lebron James, because he is a very prestigious athlete” Bloom explained “I could learn a lot from his mentality.”
